ABOUT ME
I am a composer, pianist, conductor and music teacher.
In my music-making, composing has a strong influence on my work as a performer and vice versa; my research influences both my composing and my performances, and vice versa.
And all of this influences my teaching, and vice versa.

I am the kind of musician who intuitively responds to what I hear around me, something I have developed during the hundreds of concerts I played as a continuo harpsichordist.
I wanted to implement this aspect of freedom for the performers in my scores and give them the responsibility and task to be even more inventive than in traditional score playing. After all, I feel more akin to the Satie-Cage-Feldman tradition than to the Western European avant-garde.
